I’m suffering from Major depression disorder and I feel totally alone. I also am tried of people walking on egg-shells around me. My advice based on my experience is to plan activities with him that he likes, let him feel that you are there, without being overly pushy. Also, its really nice to know people care, so perhaps doing small things for him like putting a special treat together to give him or sending a package to him? I know its kinda sad, but even junk mail is something for me… it makes me feel less isolated and out of touch. Hope this helps.
Don’t judge, let him do the talking and just let him know he can call you anytime and that panic disorder is terrible but it won’t kill him and he needs to do what the Doctor says in order to get better.
