i was prescribed metopolol 50mg mylan for tremors and anxiety. should i be taking this medication?
i thought this medication was for high blood pressure or to treat people that have had heart attacks.

Metoprolol belongs to a class of drugs called beta blockers. You are correct in that they are primarily used for heart and high blood pressure.
