You should get the program by Charles Linden
http://www.panic-anxiety.com
Natural supplements (kava-kava, chamomile, passionflower) are a temporary fix, you'd be better with self hypnosis; you'd be done with panic/anxiety in about 4 weeks and not need to keep taking herbs or supplements or even thinking about it. Eradicate it forever and be normal again.

The reason it's hard to calm down is because your conscious mind isn't in charge of your emotions or bodily sensations- that's the job of your subconscious mind. You and all your friends could tell you to relax for 3 hours but it wouldn't change the pounding heart, sweaty hands or overwhelming fear.

I believe taking drugs because you're scared to change your thoughts is extreme, but everyone wants a quick fix. It's literally all in your mind, and you can change it with some time and effort.

go to web md to find some treatment options. i used to chew gum (a mint flavor) and use a kush ball....i don't know if that will work for you. also try to see a doctor, i know you said you dont' have enough money for one but if you have had them for a while they may be symptoms of a underlying condition. or at least talk to your reg. doctor about it.

I used to have panic attacks...They are awful...But you don't have to go to a pyschologist. I went to my medical doctor and he prescribed Paxil...One pill a day..It works....It takes about 6 weeks to kick in, and it's covered by insurance.
