Combining Cymbalta with Neurontin to fight depression? What do you think?
My mother in law is 78 years old. She has been treated for depression for many years + gone through ECT treatments. What do you think of this combo? She seems to be in physical pain all the time although her vitals are fine. She is going through some major anxiety attacks. Any thoughts?

Cymbalta does work for depression; I know somebody who takes it and it has turned his life around.
Whether it would work for your mother-in-law is impossible to say, though, as everyone reacts differently. As for combining it with Neurontin – only a medical specialist can answer this.
If your mother-in-law is in pain, then an anti depressant might help, as some of them do reduce chronic pain.
You really do need specialist advice. Go with your mother -in -law to see her usual doctor and ask for a referral.
